DebtFree is a trading style of Harrington Brooks, one of the largest and longest established debt resolution providers in the UK.

As of February 2012 we have over 25,000 clients on our financial management programme and a further 5000 clients doing their IVA with us.

By volume of new cases, we are the nations 4th largest IVA provider.

We employ over 300 staff in our offices in Sale, Manchester; the majority of which are involved in providing personalised debt advice, liaising with creditors or providing customer support and service.

Trade Body Membership

DEMSA promotes good practice in the debt management industry to protect the interests of the public and the lenders to whom they owe money. DEMSA's code of practice is approved by the Office of Fair Trading. A such, membership is subject to a rigorous auditing process to ensure the quality of service.

The Insolvency Practitioners Association regualtes our Insolvency Practitioners (IPs) and provision of IVAs, auditing us one per year. The IPA is recognised for the purposes of licensing IPs under the Insolvency Act 1986.

ISO 9001 Accreditation

Harrington Brooks are an ISO 9001 registered company. ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses.

The award of the ISO 9001 kite mark demonstrates the existence of an effective quality management system that satisfies the rigours of an independent, external audit.
