Earn More Money

Earning more money doesn't have to be as hard as it sounds, in fact Debt Free have some simple tips which might provide you with a little bit more income.

1: Sell Unwanted Items

With the rise of the Internet, you don't have to drag your unwanted items to a car boot sale every weekend and stand in the freezing cold. It is simple to sell your stuff online. If you haven't done so, set up an eBay account and begin to sell your unwanted items. Items to consider are board games, old clothes, CD and DVDs.

And remember the well known saying -
Your junk could be someone else's treasure.

2: Take a second job

You might want to consider taking up another job to earn some extra income. Ideas include dog walking, bar work or delivering catalogues. You can then use this extra income to go towards your debts.

Entering into an IVA may adversely affect your credit rating for up to six years from the date of approval.

Your property will be protected within an IVA but you may be required to release all or part of any equity during the period of the arrangement.

Failure to complete the term of an IVA can result in bankruptcy.

(In Scotland, a PTD is the equivalent to an IVA.)
